Mercedes Cullen is a first year player for Salmon Bay FC and part of our inaugural 2025 roster. Before college, Cullen played for Mead High School where she was all-league in each of her final three seasons. Cullen joined Seattle Pacific University in 2022 and played three seasons as the starting goalkeeper before joining Salmon Bay FC. She received all-conference recognition in all three seasons (Second Team in 2023 and Honorable Mention in both 2022 and 2024) while also winning GNAC Defensive Player of the Week twice and setting program records for number of saves in a half and match. Then after a summer with Salmon Bay, Cullen returned for her senior year with the falcons where she started in 19 matches and kept 11 clean sheets, and winning GNAC Defensive Player of the Week in late October. This is Cullen’s final year of collegiate eligibility.
With Salmon Bay FC: Cullen battled with injury for the majority of the 2025 Salmon Bay FC season and did not see match action.
