This Wednesday night, Salmon Bay FC will host the club’s first ever Artist Night as the team will wear their special edition Sarah Robbins kits.

Ballard FC has done an artist night every year and will have their own Sarah Robbins Night on Friday, June 20th. The organization wanted to continue this tradition with Salmon Bay FC, starting Wednesday at Interbay.
Sarah Robbins is a local illustrator, painter, and designer. You can find her work all around Seattle, including two murals at Ballard Yards on the east and west sides of the building. Read more about the Sarah Robbins Kit here.
On the pitch, the match should be a very competitive affair with the second and third placed teams in the division going head to head. Let’s meet the visitors.
West Seattle Rhodies FC

Just like Salmon Bay FC, the Rhodies are in their first year as a USL W League side and have gotten off to a great start. The Rhodies only loss came to division leaders, FC Olympia, on the road where they were narrowly defeated 2-1.
The Rhodies roster build is similar to Salmon Bay FC as well, with many local players from the University of Washington and the University of Portland. Interestingly, neither the Rhodies nor their men’s side, West Seattle Junction FC, have any players from the current Seattle University rosters.
In the earlier meeting for the season opener, the two sides battled it out in a scoreless draw at Nino Cantu SW Athletic Complex. The match was very tense with both sides making some last-ditch defensive plays to prevent the opposition from scoring. Salmon Bay were inches from finding a winner in the second half but were denied by a goal-line clearance.
Halfway through the season, Salmon Bay FC are yet to concede a goal and will look to keep that streak going on Wednesday night in what looks like a must-win as the hosts try and catch FC Olympia in the playoff chase.
