Salmon Bay posted their second straight road win, and their second shutout win of 2026. Goals from Aliyah Dockter, Ginny Lackey and Ameera Hussen secured Salmon Bay’s first win at Bellarmine Memorial Field.

After three road games in the span of ten days, the Coho will head back to Interbay stadium on Saturday having taken six of a possible nine points, scoring ten goals and conceding three.
The result keeps Salmon Bay in second place in the Northwest Division going into a weekend match-up with third place Portland Cherry Bombs.
The first 20 minutes of Wednesday’s match were spent almost entirely on Tacoma’s defensive end.
The sustained period of pressure was capped off by the game’s opening goal, a lovely bar-down strike by Aliyah Dockter from 25 yards out.
The Coho would stay on the front foot for the rest of the first half, peppering Tacoma’s goal with attempts, finding their second in the final minute of the half. A back heel flick-on from Ui Kaaihue would find Ginny Lackey clear on net, and the striker made no mistake, 2-0 at the break.
The second half would proceed similarly, with Salmon Bay looking comfortably in-control of the match, soaring a handful of counter-attacks from Tacoma.
The final bit of insurance would come from a long-distance blast from Ameera Hussen in the 60th, and the Coho would ride out the result to the final whistle.
Maya Hindson, who provided the assist on the final goal, would be named player of the match for her dominance on the right flank in the shutout win.
