Alex Buck is a first year player for Salmon Bay FC and part of our inaugural 2025 roster. Before college, Buck played her club soccer for Eastside FC and made ECNL First Team All-Northwest Conference Team in 2022. Buck went to Bellevue High School where she was team captain and received All-League honors in 2021. In college, Buck has just finished her freshman season with the huskies where she played in all 21 matches. In those 21 matches, she made four starts, scored one goal, and recorded one assist. Buck’s efforts as a freshman earned her a spot on the Top Drawer Soccer Big Ten Breakout Candidate list ahead of the 2025 season. In 2025, Buck truly broke out, winning Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week twice on her way to First Team All-Big Ten and Big Ten All-Tournament Team honors as she led the attack for a Washington team that won both the Big Ten Regular Season and Big Ten Tournament championships. Buck still has two years of collegiate eligibility remaining.
With Salmon Bay FC: Buck battled with injury for much of the 2025 Salmon Bay season, however she still managed to make two appearances for the club, including one start on the road against the Tacoma Galaxy.
