Sophie Hanay is a second year player for Salmon Bay FC. Before college, Hanay graduated from Bishop Blanchet High School where she was First Team All-Metro League in her senior season. She joined Seattle Pacific University as a freshman in 2024 where she played in all 19 matches. In addition to playing soccer, Hanay also runs track at Seattle Pacific. After a great freshman year, she joined Salmon Bay FC for the summer ahead of her sophomore season. As a sophomore, Hanay played in all 19 matches for the Falcons again but this time she made 18 starts and recorded her first collegiate assist. Hanay still has two years of collegiate eligibility remaining.
With Salmon Bay FC: Hanay played in five matches and made two starts for Salmon Bay FC in 2025. Her positional versatility was very valuable to coach Arrant as she played both left back and right back this past summer.

Maya Loudd is a first year player for Salmon Bay FC and part of of our inaugural 2025 roster. Before college, Loudd played club soccer for Northwest Elite ECNL where she won the 2018 ECNL Pacific Division Championship. Loudd attended Tualatin High School where she received all-state honors twice and played in the All-American Game. In college, Loudd has played two seasons for the huskies. As a freshman, Loudd played in 18 matches, starting 12 as well as contributing two goals and an assist. Then as a sophomore, Loudd played in all 21 matches with 20 starts, helping the Husky defense keep 11 clean sheets to hold their opponents scoreless in over half of their matches. As a junior, Loudd appeared in 20 of 21 matches while making 19 starts for the Big Ten Regular Season and Tournament Champions. She was selected as Big Ten Defender of the Week once on her way to being named Second Team All-Big Ten. Loudd still has one year of collegiate eligibility remaining.
With Salmon Bay FC: Loudd was a consistent presence on the Salmon Bay backline in 2025, featuring at both left back and right back. Despite dealing with concussion protocol, Loud still started in half of the club’s USL W League matches.

Kaya Hanson is a first year player for Salmon Bay FC and part of our inaugural 2025 roster. Before college, Hanson played her club soccer for Seattle United and the Seattle Reign Academy. Hanson went to Bishop Blanchet High School where she was Metro League Player of the Year as well as All-State in 2023. In college, Hanson played two seasons with the hoyas before joining Salmon Bay FC. In those two seasons, she made 39 appearances and seven starts for a Georgetown team that won two Big East Regular Season Championships as well as the Big East Tournament Title in 2023. Then after the summer with Salmon Bay, Hanson truly had a breakout season as a junior. She started in all 20 matches as she won a third straight Big East Regular Season Title with the hoyas and she and her team are headed to the NCAA Tournament. Her defensive efforts did not go unnoticed as she was named Second Team All-Big East. Hanson still has one year of collegiate eligibility left.
With Salmon Bay FC: Hanson played in seven matches and made four starts for Salmon Bay FC in their first season. In those four starts, she was twiced named Player of the Match by Head Coach Malia Arrant.
