Carly Whalen

Age: 20

Carly Whalen is a first year player for Salmon Bay FC and part of our inaugural 2025 roster. Before college, Whalen graduated from Liberty High School where she was a three-year varsity player and defensive MVP. She then joined the University of Montana as a freshman in 2024 where she made an immediate impact. Whalen played in 18 of 19 matches for the Grizzlies while making 11 starts, scoring one goal and assisting three times. Whalen’s efforts for the Big Sky Regular Season Champions earned her All-Big Sky Honorable Mention recognition. Then after a summer with Salmon Bay, Whalen had another great season as a sophomore in 2025. She started in all eight matched before getting injured for the remainder of the season for a Grizzly team that won the Big Sky Regular Season and Tournament Championship. Whalen still has two years of collegiate eligibility remaining.
With Salmon Bay FC: Whalen played in four matches from Salmon Bay FC in their inaugural season, starting in the season opener against the West Seattle Rhodies.
Chloe Seelhoff

Chloe Seelhoff is a first year player for Salmon Bay FC and part of our inaugural 2025 roster. Before college, Seelhoff played her club soccer for Crossfire. She graduated from Glacier Peak High School where she was All-Area WESCO in each of her final three seasons. Seelhoff joined the University of Washington in 2022 and played two seasons for the huskies where she played in 17 matches and made four starts. Ahead of her junior season, Seelhoff transferred to the University of Montana where she had instant success. She played in all 19 matches and made 13 starts while scoring six goals and assisting once for a Grizzly team that won the Big Sky Regular Season Title. Seelhoff’s efforts earned her Second Team All-Big Sky honors. After a summer with Salmon Bay, Seelhoff returned for her senior season with the Grizzlies where she starred once again. She played in 17 matches (starting 16), scored seven goals and assisted six times on her way to being named First Team All-Big Sky for a Grizzly team that won both the Big Sky Regular Season and Tournament Championships. This is Seelhoff’s final year of collegiate eligibility.
With Salmon Bay FC: Seelhoff played in seven of 11 matches for Salmon Bay FC in 2025 while making two starts. She finished the season as the club’s second-leading scorer with four league goals.
Milly Bray

Milly Bray is a first year player for Salmon Bay FC and part of our inaugural 2025 roster. Before college, Bray played her club soccer for Seattle United and Crossfire. Bray graduated from Lincoln High School and was actually still a student there while she was playing for Salmon Bay FC in 2025. After the summer with Salmon Bay, Bray joined Stanford as a freshman where she made an instant impact. She played in 13 matches, scoring once and assisting twice, for the ACC Regular Season and Tournament Champions. Bray still has three years of collegiate eligibility remaining.
With Salmon Bay FC: Bray joined Salmon Bay FC from open tryouts while she was still a senior in high school. Despite being the youngest on the team, her impact was quite large. Milly became the youngest player in organizational history (Ballard FC or Salmon Bay FC) to score a goal when she scored against the Spokane Shadow in the Evergreen State Exhibition. Then, she also scored the first away goal in club history when she opened the scoring on the road against Bigfoot FC.
Anna Menti

Anna Menti is a first year player for Salmon Bay FC and part of of our inaugural 2025 roster. Before college, Menti played club soccer for Crossfire where she received ECNL Northwest Conference First Team honors. Menti attended Roosevelt High School where she was named 2021 All-Metro MVP. In College, Menti has played two seasons for the huskies. In her freshman season, Menti appeared in 18 matches and made 11 starts while also scoring once and assisting twice. Menti followed that up with 19 appearances and 12 starts as a sophomore, adding another goal to her tally in the “Battle for Seattle” against Seattle University. As a junior, Menti started in 20 of 21 matches for the Big Ten Regular Season and Tournament Champions. Menti’s efforts earned her College Soccer News’ Defender of the Week honors once as well as Third Team All-Big Ten recognition. Menti still has one year of collegiate eligibility remaining.
With Salmon Bay FC: Menti was a key player for Salmon Bay FC in 2025, starring in the midfield. Menti finished the season tied for the most assists (2) in league play while being a defensive presence all summer long. Menti played in nine of eleven matches in 2025, starting in seven of them.
Kelsey Kwon

Age: 22

School: Northwestern University

Kelsey Kwon is a first year player for Salmon Bay FC and part of our inaugural 2025 roster. Before college, Kwon played her club soccer for Crossfire Premier and the Seattle Reign Academy where she was ranked second in the Pacific Northwest region by TopDrawerSoccer. Kwon joined Northwestern University in 2021 as a freshman. Kwon played in 12 matches across her first two seasons and was part of a Northwestern team that made the Sweet Sixteen in 2022. Kwon sat out the 2023 season due to injury and then came back in 2024 as a redshirt junior where she played in all 19 matches, made her first career starts (6), and recorded her first assist. Then after a summer with Salmon Bay, Kwon returned for her senior season for the Wildcats which has been her best yet. As a senior, Kwon played in all 20 matches while making 11 starts. In addition, Kwon scored her first collegiate goal against Illinois while also assisting against Rutgers. Kwon and her team will head to the NCAA tournament for the second time in her collegiate career. This is Kwon’s final year of collegiate eligibility.
With Salmon Bay FC: Kwon played in six of 11 matches for Salmon Bay FC in 2025 while also making four starts.
