Salmon Bay FC’s first ever home match is this Memorial Day, May 26th against Spokane Shadow SC. This is an updated opponent as Spokane Zephyr FC can no longer make the trip west.

Due to roster challenges associated with injuries, international call-ups, and a crucial end of season playoff push, Spokane Zephyr FC is no longer able to compete in the match.
Despite this, we are pleased to let you know that we will now be playing Spokane Shadow SC instead. The match will still take place on May 26th at 3:00pm at Interbay Stadium, the only change is the opponent!
Spokane Shadow SC

Spokane Shadow are a highly accomplished Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL) team. In 2024, they were Northwest Conference Champions, and they now enter 2025 ranked #11 nationally out of 150 teams. The WPSL is a women’s pre-professional league, much like USL W, that started in 1998 and now comprises 150 teams nationwide. Monday’s friendly will be a highly competitive match as both teams enter their respective seasons with hopes to win a national championship.
We understand that this change may be disappointing to many of you, but we want to reassure you that all other aspects of the match remain the same. This is still the first opportunity to see Salmon Bay FC play at home before the league home opener on May 30th. We will have all of our matchday operations planned as usual including the beer garden, food vendors, and more.
For those who already have tickets, there is no action needed on your part and your tickets are still valid as is. We look forward to seeing you at the match on May 26th and hopefully at many other matches all season long! We cannot wait to kickoff our inaugural season at home with you and make it a truly special event both on and off the field.
After drawing the season opener on Sunday, Salmon Bay FC will be looking for their first-ever win. Sunday’s match against West Seattle was a tense, scoreless draw, as both teams made sure they did not lose their first-ever matches. Read the full match recap here.
MATCH DETAILS
Gates: Gates open at 1:30pm! We also recommend arriving early to enjoy the food and beer offerings, watch the players warm up, beat the hassle of traffic and parking, and to enjoy all of the prematch festivities. Also, the first 150 fans will get the below match poster FREE.

Food Vendors: Beyond the thrilling soccer action, Wednesday’s match will feature an array of food vendors, including Big Boys Filipino, T’Juana Tacos, and Mainstay Provisions. Also, before you head to Pagliacci Pitch, you can take advantage of the Pagliacci Pizza BOGO slice deal on matchdays. Just show your ticket at any Pagliacci location (except UW) and get two slices for the price of one. Outside food is not allowed in the venue except for Pagliacci Pizza.
Ballard Food Bank: We also encourage fans to support the community by bringing donations of peanut butter and jelly for the Ballard food bank.
Beer Garden The Bridges United Foundation Beer Garden is back at Interbay Stadium this season. Unlike at Memorial last season, fans will be able to watch the match from the beer garden. The beer garden proudly serves Reuben’s Brews. This year, it will feature a second service station, and the Orgullo Ajeno Tequila Zone.
Transportation: Parking is extremely limited. We highly recommend alternative forms of transportation, including biking. We will have the Wombi Bike Parking area available at every home match this year. Please also consider riding King County Metro on game day, where youth through age 18 always ride free! Check out transit mode in Google Maps, the TripPlanner.kingcounty.gov website, or an app like OneBusAway.
Live Stream: Can’t make it to the match? All Salmon Bay FC home matches are streamed on SportsEngine Play and embedded on the Salmon Bay FC homepage. HERE is the stream for Monday’s match.
