FC Olympia, The back-to-back-to-back NW Division Champions, are heading to Seattle this weekend as Salmon Bay FC will host them for Local Radio Night on Friday, June 12th at 7pm.
Salmon Bay FC believes in the importance of local radio and that is why the club is partnering with KNKX, KUOW, and KEXP to put on Friday’s match. The club encourages fans to support all of their local Seattle radio stations. Local radio is essential for local music, news, sports, and more as these stations cover topics important to our community. As a hyperlocal soccer club, Salmon Bay FC aims to bring the community together in the same way that local radio stations can.
Friday’s match features the top two teams in the division from the 2025 season with both teams needing to pick up some results to get back to the top this season. Now, let’s meet Friday’s opponents.
FC Olympia

FC Olympia joined the USL W League 2023 and have been a dominant figure ever since, winning the NW Division Title in each of the first three seasons. From 2023 to the end of the 2025 season, FC Olympia never lost at home, and only drew once to Salmon Bay FC in their 2025 regular season finale (a match where a draw was enough for Olympia to clinch the division title).
However 2026 has been a different story for the Artesians as the club sits in fourth place out of seven teams in the division with just seven points from seven matches paired with a -15 goal differential. Olympia got back on track on Tuesday with a 2-1 win over the Portland Cherry Bombs, leapfrogging Portland to take over fourth place in the standings.
Earlier this season, Salmon Bay FC defeated FC Olympia 4-0 in the state capitol with a goal from Amelia Severn, two from U’i Kaaihue and an own goal. That match was the season opener for Salmon Bay and only Olympia’s second match, so both of the teams and their rosters will be different for Friday’s contest.
Salmon Bay FC has a 2-0-1 (W-L-T) all-time record against FC Olympia and the hosts will not only look to stay undefeated against the Artesians, but the goal will be all three points as Salmon Bay FC must win their remaining six matches to keep control of their own destiny as they push for playoffs and the division title.

MATCH DETAILS
Saturday will be just the second Salmon Bay FC home match of the season. Fans should read this year’s “Know Before You Go” matchday guidelines and all of the below information to learn everything you need to know ahead of Saturday’s match.
Gates: Gates open at 5:30pm! We recommend arriving early to enjoy the food and beer offerings, watch the players warm up, beat the hassle of traffic and parking, and to enjoy all of the prematch festivities. There will be a “happy hour” with all drinks half off from 5:30-6:15pm!
Food Vendors: Beyond the thrilling soccer action, Friday’s match will feature an array of food vendors, including Tijuana Tacos, Kottu, and Mainstay Provisions. Also, before you head to Pagliacci Pitch, you can take advantage of the Pagliacci Pizza BOGO slice deal on game days. Just show your ticket at any Pagliacci location and get two slices for the price of one. Outside food is not allowed in the venue except for Pagliacci Pizza. Fans can also purchase snacks, non-alcoholic drinks, and hot dogs (including the famous “Ballard Dog”) from the concession stand.
Ballard Food Bank: We also encourage fans to support the community by bringing donations of canned beans for the Ballard Food Bank.
Beer Garden: The Bridges United Foundation Beer Garden is back and better than ever this season. The Beer Garden proudly serves Stoup Brewing. In addition to beer from Stoup, fans can purchase tequila from Orgullo Ajeno Tequila, cider from Incline Cider, N/A beer from Athletic Brewing, and wine from Vino FC. The Beer Garden is all ages, however there is a 21+ zone in the southeast corner of the stadium, which includes the new bleachers that were installed during phase one of the Interbay Stadium Expansion, which was completed earlier this month. Although alcohol can only be purchase inside the Beer Garden, fans can now take beer, wine, and cider outside of the Beer Garden and back to their seats or standing room area. Check out the Beverage Map below.

Transportation: Parking is extremely limited and will not be available in the parking lot by the time gates open. Street parking can be found to the north, east, or west of the stadium. We highly recommend alternative forms of transportation, including biking as we will have the Wombi Bike Parking area available at every home match this year. Please also consider riding King County Metro on game day, where youth through age 18 always ride free! Check out transit mode in Google Maps, the TripPlanner.kingcounty.gov website, or an app like OneBusAway.
Live Stream: Can’t make it to the match? All Salmon Bay FC home matches will be streamed live and can be found at salmonbayfc.com/stream.
